Through this project, we aim to strengthen the professional, methodological and intercultural skills of French and Tunisian multipliers involved in supporting young people who are directly or indirectly confronted with migration issues, social precariousness and questions of identity. Our project focuses primarily on developing high-quality youth work practices based on non-formal education, popular education and narrative and journalistic methodologies. It builds on the cooperation initiated during the ‘MediStories 1’ project and responds to identified needs for professionalisation, pedagogical innovation and the pooling of expertise between partner organisations. Its ambition is to make the narrative of migration journeys and life experiences a structuring educational tool. This approach enables professionals to guide young people towards a better understanding of their social, cultural and historical environment, and to strengthen their ability to express themselves, their critical thinking and their civic engagement. The project has the following objectives: => to strengthen cooperation between ZEP and Horizon pour le Développement in the long term through the joint development of a common training programme, based on their complementary expertise, in order to improve the quality of support offered to JAMOs; => to develop participants' professional skills in facilitation, individual and group support, storytelling and intercultural mediation in relation to migration issues; => Enable participants to put into practice the methods they have learned during joint workshops with young people, in Franco-Tunisian teams, promoting learning through practice and professional reflection. => Structure a collective reflection on media representations of youth and migration, with a view to advocacy, awareness-raising and the deconstruction of stereotypes. The project also aims to strengthen the organisational capacities of partner structures. It contributes to: => improving their intervention strategies for young people in vulnerable situations; => developing their capacity to design, implement and evaluate high-quality international projects; => strengthening their position as key players on issues of migration, inclusion and youth participation. The project focuses on peer learning, the exchange of practices and the recognition of informal and non-formal skills acquired by participants. The tools developed, the methodologies tested and the outputs produced (collection of stories, teaching materials) will be capitalised on and disseminated within the partner organisations and their networks. They will enable participants to transfer what they have learned to their local contexts and, in the medium and long term, to improve the quality of actions carried out in favour of young people.
