Objectives

The project aims to strengthen the capacities of Ukrainian and French youth workers by providing practical knowledge, tools, and experience to enhance social cohesion, inclusion, and civic engagement, particularly for youth affected by conflict. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the European Parliament, EU decision-making, and core values, enabling them to translate institutional knowledge into local youth activities and non-formal learning programmes. The project uses non-formal and informal methods, including experiential learning, workshops, reflection circles, city discovery walks, peer exchange, and self-directed research. This approach develops participants’ skills in facilitation, inclusive practice, and trauma-informed education, allowing them to support young people with fewer opportunities, including low-income youth and those from conflict-affected areas. A key objective is to ensure sustainability and multiplier effects: each participant will deliver local sessions, organise dissemination events, and embed project methods in their organisations’ ongoing work. Online collaboration, mentoring, and Youthpass recognition will reinforce long-term impact. The project also promotes cross-border networking, knowledge exchange, and collaborative project design, fostering innovation in youth work practice. By combining European-level insights with practical local applications, the project strengthens the quality, recognition, and resilience of youth work, while creating a replicable model to support youth inclusion and civic participation in Ukraine and beyond.
