The Citizens’ Pathways project aims to strengthen civic participation, engagement and inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, mainly from rural or peripheral areas. Through two youth participation mobilities in Italy and a structured support pathway, the project will offer young people a concrete European experience based on non-formal education, collective life and intercultural dialogue. The project aims to facilitate access to European mobility, develop civic, social and intercultural competences, strengthen self-confidence and empowerment, and encourage young people to engage sustainably in local and European community life. It also seeks to reinforce cooperation between youth stakeholders and generate a long-lasting impact on the territories involved.
