Building on the European Year of Digital Citizenship Education (Council of Europe), the project aims to strengthen young people’s critical thinking in response to current challenges related to disinformation and fake news. In a context marked by growing distrust in institutions and low youth participation in public debate, especially among young people with fewer opportunities, the project seeks to create accessible, creative and safe spaces that foster expression and civic engagement. Objectives: – help young people better understand the EU, its values and institutions, often perceived as distant – promote a conscious and responsible use of multimedia tools as means of expression and empowerment – encourage learning by doing through the creation of audiovisual content – support active participation in democratic life – foster social cohesion by bringing together young people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
