The DisC’Hope project aims to address the needs of young people in French Guiana, who face strong social, economic, and geographical inequalities and have limited access to culture, leisure, and spaces for civic participation. The objective is to offer young people aged 15 to 25 opportunities for discovery, reflection, and engagement through diverse activities such as civic debates, cultural and artistic workshops, educational outings, environmental actions, and digital productions. By involving them in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation, the project seeks to strengthen their confidence, practical skills, and sense of belonging. DisC’Hope thus aspires to foster youth expression and autonomy, highlight their cultural diversity, and encourage them to become active changemakers in their territory and in Europe.
