Through this project, a group of young people from Ardèche will be supported in the implementation of a youth-led advocacy initiative at the departmental level, promoting human rights and European mobility altogether. They will be able to choose from a wide range of alternative participatory methods proposed by the partner organizations — social and solidarity-based art, participatory audiovisual creations, and non-formal education — in order to: – Gradually explore the topic, moving from individual perspectives to collective expression, while addressing the different policies involved, from the local level to the European framework (EU & ECHR); – Broaden their horizons through two mobility experiences with the Netherlands, to explore the impact of mobility on young people’s ownership of human rights as citizens; – Carry out advocacy work in Ardèche by creatively presenting the participants’ conclusions and by engaging their peers and local policymakers in a citizen dialogue.
