The ACCOORD association manages Nantes's socio-cultural centers, community centers and teen spaces. As a key player in social and cultural activities, it wants to increase its actions to encourage young people to get into civic life. Our youth workers have noticed that young people in Nantes lack knowledge about national and European politics. Many of them want to get involved in their neighbourhood but don't have the tools to do so. Our objectives for this project are as follows: 1) Raise awareness among young people in Nantes about the democratic process, their role as citizens, and the importance of their active participation 2) Support young people in forming informed and independent opinions on local, national, and European issues through dialogue and respect for diversity of opinion 3) Introduce young people in Nantes to the challenges of the media, social networks, and journalism methods to develop their critical thinking skills
