This project was launched in 2025 following exchanges between European partners concerned about the rise of anti-democratic movements and young people’s disengagement from politics. It builds on a series of professional seminars, the 2026 youth exchanges on critical thinking, and the “Droit(s) de Cité” project focused on social justice and civic participation. The objective is to support young people in a genuine engagement pathway by enabling them to deepen their understanding of democratic issues and the functioning of European institutions, engage in dialogue with Members of the European Parliament, and share their learning at the local level, particularly in the lead-up to the 2027 elections. The project therefore aims to strengthen their agency and foster informed civic participation among a wider audience.
