The "Talence-Europe Express" project aims to offer a first autonomous mobility experience to 5 young people (aged 18-21) from priority neighborhoods (QPV) in the Bordeaux metropolitan area, who would never have traveled alone without support. Our main objectives are to break down psychological barriers (fear of the unknown, language barriers) and foster social inclusion through the cultural discovery of two major European capitals: Amsterdam and Berlin. From a youth work perspective, this project uses train travel (DiscoverEU) as an educational tool for non-formal learning. Through a peer-mentoring approach (students guiding youth), we aim to develop essential transversal skills: organizational autonomy, budget management, active citizenship, and the smart use of digital tools in a mobility context.
