Through the project we aim to strengthen staff capacities for more inclusive and higher-quality adult education for persons with disabilities by developing competences in mental wellbeing, inclusive and intercultural communication, and innovative and digital learning methods. This will improve the quality of support for users, increase staff professional confidence and ensure the long-term sustainability and European dimension of the organisation.
We are applying for this project because in our daily work with adults with intellectual disabilities we have identified a strong need to strengthen staff competences in mental wellbeing, inclusive communication and innovative working methods. An internal analysis and staff survey showed a lack of formal knowledge and tools for addressing emotional difficulties, adapted communication and the use of creative and digital approaches.
