Through job shadowing in community-oriented cultural centres, we will strengthen Pogon’s capacity to launch and manage a new neighbourhood venue as an inclusive, participatory cultural hub. We wish to learn practical outreach and communication strategies, participatory programme planning workflows, community partnership building, and simple methods to evaluate meaningful engagement, then translate these insights into tools and plans for our first programme cycle.
We applied because we want to strengthen Pogon’s competences for managing a new venue in a different neighbourhood through learning from experienced European cultural organizations through job-shadowing. The project will help us improve open and inclusive management, participatory programming, community outreach (including socially vulnerable groups), and provide simple tools for evaluating community engagement.
