Countries: HR · Grant: €77,913
Overcoming skills mismatch and addressing the needs of the labour marketInitial and continuous training for teachers, trainers and other education staffBridging intercultural, intergenerational and social divide

Objectives

The project will increase students’ employability through work-based learning in an international environment and develop their language and intercultural competence. The project will ensure equal, inclusive access to all learners and staff. At the same time, we will strengthen teachers’ capacity to apply modern teaching methods in line with modular VET European standards, transferring results into teaching and school development plans. The project will address school needs and local challenges.

Background

We applied because students have limited opportunities for real work-based learning due to the weak local industry and the lack of compulsory practice in some programmes. At the same time, the National modular reform requires continuous teacher training and new teaching methods, which are not readily available locally. Through this project, we will ensure quality work-based learning, improve foreign language skills, support inclusion, and strengthen the school’s European dimension.
