We plan to enable students in computing, mechatronics, electronics and road transport to gain practical competences in technology companies in Brno and transport enterprises in Vienna, while two teachers in Malta will explore modular teaching and credit systems such as CSVET. We aim to reduce the gap between school-acquired knowledge and competences demanded by European employers, and equip teachers to modernize teaching upon return and share expertise with colleagues.
Our technical programme students complete education without practical experience because the local economy in Daruvar lacks IT companies and transport enterprises for quality placements. Computer technicians are the only programme without mandatory work placement in the curriculum. After implementing our first KA122-VET project in 2024, we recognized that international mobility directly addresses key deficiencies in our educational environment and opens access to European work standards.
