This project seeks to connect youth across Europe to shared European values and Erasmus+ goals, empowering them to address climate action and mental health resilience while promoting inclusion, solidarity, and intercultural understanding. By bringing together youth from diverse backgrounds, including those with fewer opportunities and from conflict-affected areas like Ukraine, the project promotes European values of inclusion, equality, and respect for diversity. Activities designed to encourage collaboration and mutual understanding will strengthen participants' sense of belonging to the European community. Participants will learn to take responsibility for their own well-being by learning self-regulatory skills and stress-relieving methods and will be empowered to make an impact on their environment, peers, family, etc., and act as a positive change in their communities. The project will inspire youth to become proactive changemakers in their communities, fostering civic engagement. By engaging in shared activities and discussions, making international friends, and learning about their cultures and habits, participants will deepen their appreciation for cultural diversity, bridging differences and building connections and long-term friendships across borders. The project enhances participants’ competences in teamwork, leadership, communication, and problem-solving, equipping them for future personal, educational, and professional success. By using tools like Youthpass, the project ensures that these skills are recognized and celebrated. The project is educating participants on the importance of sustainability, equipping them with practical tools to adopt and advocate for eco-friendly practices, by promoting nature connection activities to instill a sense of responsibility and care for the environment. That is helping participants build self-awareness and emotional well-being through activities that focus on self-connection, mindfulness, and reflection, while also strengthening group dynamics to foster mutual support and create a safe space and welcoming environment for sharing and learning. This project is highlighting the link between mental health and nature, encouraging participants to use nature as a source of resilience. It also creates opportunities for youth with fewer opportunities to participate and feel empowered, especially those facing socio-economic difficulties, geographical barriers, and war-related challenges. That is encouraging solidarity and empathy through inclusive and supportive activities. Through interactive workshops and collaborative projects, participants will develop essential skills like critical thinking, leadership, and adaptability. Reflection and documentation through Youthpass will help participants recognize and articulate their growth. Throughout the exchange, participants will take part in structured civic participation activities. Small international groups will identify a social or well-being related challenge in their local communities (e.g. youth stress, social exclusion, lack of safe spaces). Using non-formal facilitation methods, they will design small-scale follow-up actions they can realistically implement after returning home. This process strengthens young people’s sense of agency, democratic participation, and responsibility, linking personal well-being with active citizenship. As a concrete follow-up result, each national group will commit to implementing at least one small-scale local action within three months after the exchange (e.g. peer well-being workshop, nature-based activity, discussion circle, or awareness session). Partner organisations will provide mentoring and visibility support to help these youth-led initiatives become realistic and achievable first steps in active citizenship. The experience will inspire participants to act as ambassadors of sustainability and mental health awareness in their local and European communities and hopefully establish a network of young changemakers united by shared goals and experiences, fostering ongoing collaboration and support. By focusing on these objectives, the project aligns directly with the Erasmus+ mission to strengthen the European dimension of youth work, equip young people with the tools they need to navigate global challenges, and promote a sustainable, inclusive, and connected future for all.
