The TikTalking Youth Policy project aims to empower young people to engage in democratic processes in an informed and meaningful way by developing a collaborative, youth-led and youth-friendly approach to understanding public policies. The project addresses the gap between young people and institutions that results from complex language and inaccessible policy documents. The main objective of the project is to co-create and test a methodology together with young people for translating public policies into language that is understandable to young people, with the active involvement of young people, especially those with fewer opportunities. The project strengthens the capacities of young people, youth workers and institutions for quality dialogue, promotes democratic and European values, and contributes to greater inclusion, employability and well-being of young people.
