The main objective is the need for developing new Local Youth Programme of theCity of Zabok that will respond to real needs of young people. Project objectives: To assess the needs of young people in City of Zabok, with focus on secondary school students and young people involved in the work of CSOs; To assess the needs of organisations and institutions working with young people at the local level; Establish a structured and long-term dialogue between young people, secondary schools, civil society organisations, and decision-makers, with a emphasis on the role of the Youth Council; Empower young people to actively participate in democratic processes and public decision-making, to strengthen cooperation between young people and the local self-government, and to increase young people’s trust in local institutions; To develop a high-quality and participatory Local Youth Programme for the City of Zabok; To develop sustainable models of youth participation and youth work at the local level.
