As part of the 'Come on, say it 2' project, implemented in 2024-2025, in cooperation with young people, a Local Youth Program was developed, the first local strategic document of this type and content. The Local Youth Program includes goals, measures and activities within individual thematic units, aimed at improving the quality of life of young people in Kastav, aged 13 to 30. Now, the City of Kastav wants to: (specific goal 1) empower and educate young people who will be able to independently carry out some of the activities in accordance with the Local Youth Program, as well as (specific goal 2) continuously strengthen the capacities of the members of the City of Kastav Youth Council and the Student Council of the local primary school. In this way, the problems detected through the Local Youth Program will finally begin to be concretely addressed, which will improve the quality of life of young people in Kastav, and build healthy foundations for active youth in the local community.
