Islands and Streams aims to empower young people with fewer opportunities from Rab Island and Delnice (Gorski kotar) to participate actively in their communities. Our objective is to guide them through video activism so they can identify and research a local issue, turn it into a clear story through a short documentary film, and discuss it constructively with decision-makers. The project combines creative expression and civic participation: young people strengthen media/digital literacy, communication and advocacy skills, and through structured dialogue they reach concrete agreements and realistic next steps with relevant local stakeholders.
