The project will be implemented in the Krapina-Zagorje County and will directly deal with the participation of young people in decision-making processes. Zagor, in partnership with three elementary schools, works to empower students to participate in decision-making processes and motivate them to actively participate in the school and local community. The activities will deal with the topics of active citizenship and democracy, participatory budgeting, digital literacy, activism, the implementation of election simulations and the implementation of winning ideas after the elections. At the end of the project, a final conference will be held. The goals are to empower young people for active participation in the community, the importance of budgeting and financial literacy, to encourage initiatives in the school community, as well as to create a sense of ownership of the results they achieve in their community, all with the goal of becoming active citizens in their local communities.
