Objectives

The aim of the project is to strengthen the professional capacity of youth workers, coaches and educators through sport-based, non-formal educational methods that are suitable for the practical, youth-friendly and motivating exploration of the Sustainable Development Goals, social responsibility and active citizenship. The primary objective of the project is to increase participants’ methodological competences in the conscious, value-based use of sport, and to provide them with tangible tools to integrate sustainability and community responsibility into their everyday youth work practice. The project also aims to enhance the quality of non-formal and experiential learning methods, particularly in the field of sport as an educational tool, while strengthening participants facilitation, planning and reflective skills. Another key objective is to develop a shared professional approach in which sport is understood not only as physical activity, but also as a tool for initiating social and environmental change. The learning process is centred on experiential learning, peer learning and co-creation: participants develop, test and reflectively refine their own value-based sport games and activities in real youth work settings. The long-term objective of the project is for participants to act as multipliers within their own organisations and communities, thereby contributing to the strengthening of quality, inclusive and sustainable youth work at local, national and European levels.
