The main goal of the "Youth Solutions Lab – From Problems to Action" project is to strengthen the capacity of young people with fewer opportunities to understand, discuss, and actively respond to key social, economic, and psychological issues affecting young people in their countries and across Europe, using non-formal education and participatory methods. From a youth perspective, the project aims to: Empower young people as active citizens, increasing their confidence and competence in expressing their opinions, participating in dialogue, and engaging in democratic and civic processes at the local, national, and European levels. Develop key competencies through non-formal learning, including critical thinking, communication skills, teamwork, intercultural competence, problem-solving, and leadership skills, by engaging participants in interactive workshops, discussions, simulations, and group project work. Promoting inclusion and equal participation to create a safe and supportive learning environment for young people from migrant backgrounds and those with fewer opportunities, ensuring that linguistic, social, or cultural barriers do not limit their participation. Strengthening intercultural dialogue and European identity to help participants understand the similarities and differences in youth challenges across countries, foster empathy and solidarity, and strengthen a sense of belonging to Europe. Encouraging youth initiatives in solution development and social activism so that participants can co-create realistic solutions to youth challenges and translate them into concrete actions in their communities. Building the capacity of youth organisations and youth workers to improve the quality of youth work through the exchange of methods, experiences, and best practices between partner organisations. Overall, the project aims to transform young people from passive observers of social problems into informed, confident, and active participants in positive change in their communities and across Europe.
