Objectives

- staff training: Equip 10 instructors with qualified skills to manage the emotional/physical fragility of elderly and vulnerable adults, moving beyond the intensive approach of sports. - inclusion: Reduce involuntary loneliness by 20% in the pilot group (elderly/vulnerable) through the "Tango Campo" system implemented in new, adapted workshops. - institutionalization: Incorporate emotional safety protocols into the association's and stakeholders' activities.

Background

CDS is evolving from an ASD to an ETS to address the aging of its membership and growing local social isolation. The staff's martial arts skills alone are no longer adequate for the emotional needs of the elderly and vulnerable. We are applying to import the innovative "Tango Campo" methodology (a hybrid of martial arts and psychology) from our Swedish partner ProQvi Igloo, a method unavailable in Italy that is crucial to transforming our offering from a sports program to a socio-educational one
