The project aims to strengthen inclusive competences of music educators in adult education and to develop a structured model of inclusive music education. Through job shadowing, group mobility and invited experts, we will integrate innovative methodologies into our programmes and embed them sustainably in our organisation’s regular adult education activities.
Libera Musica works in non-formal adult education, promoting music as a tool for inclusion, participation and social cohesion. We identified a lack of structured inclusive music education models for adults in Italy. This project responds to the need to strengthen our educators’ competences and improve the quality of learning opportunities offered to adult learners, especially those with fewer opportunities.
