Herbarie was created as a concrete response to needs related to the social, cultural, and ecological youth promotion of urban biodiversity, emerging from previous experiences of civic engagement and participation in urban green spaces. Herbarie will work to implement SEASON (Seasonal Ecological Activation System) as a civic pathway structured through pedagogical, participatory, and spatial experiences, inspired by a contemporary reinterpretation of hortus conclusus within a green civic space. Herbarie has the following objectives: General objective: Develop a psychosocial and cultural promotion of urban biodiversity. Specific objectives: Revitalise the hortus conclusus model as a contemporary architecture for collective care and the production of shared knowledge. Strengthen youth agency. Promote an approach centred on individual resources as a driver of collective transformation. Consolidate the role of young people in the ongoing regeneration of a new civic, community, green space.
