GEN-P aims to prevent and counter gender-based violence by addressing its cultural and relational roots, through the development of emotional intelligence competences among young people aged 18–30. The main objective is to increase young people’s awareness of stereotypes, power dynamics and relational patterns that may lead to discrimination and violence, providing them with practical tools to recognise, prevent and transform such behaviours. The project also seeks to create structured spaces for youth protagonism, where participants are not passive recipients but active authors of messages, micro-actions and concrete initiatives promoting gender equality within their communities. Another key objective is to bring young people closer to European values and to the principles of the EU Gender Equality Strategy 2020–2025, translating them into informed positions and shared through dialogue with decision-makers.
