LOCT-IN strengthens youth participation in local governance through practical policy observation and structured dialogue with public authorities. The project equips young people with tools to assess public spaces, youth services and inclusion practices. Through four national Youth Participation Events and two transnational mobilities, participants enhance policy literacy, analytical thinking and evidence-based communication skills. Concrete outputs include National Local Observation Reports, the LOCT-IN Observation Toolkit and a European Youth Policy Statement. The initiative reinforces sustainable cooperation between youth organisations and municipalities and supports long-term youth engagement in local decision-making processes.
