Objectives

The general objective is to foster inclusive youth participation by advocating for a legislative change to lower the minimum candidacy age from 25 to 18 for European Elections in Italy and Greece. The project empowers young citizens to transition from observers to active co-creators of democratic policies. Specific Objectives: - Capacity Building: Train 16 "YouthPowerEU Ambassadors" in advocacy, policy analysis, and strategic communication to lead the campaign. - Advocacy & Policy: Produce professional policy briefs and a draft legislative proposal to reform candidacy age laws in Italy and Greece. - Institutional dialogue: Engage 9 MEPs and 20 national policymakers through national events and "Civic Lobbying Days" in Brussels to influence the political agenda. - Awareness & Outreach: Reach 1 million young people via digital campaigns and radio programs to build a mass movement for representation. - Inclusion: Ensure that 40% of participants are young people with fewer opportunities
