– The project “Circolare” aims to offer young people with fewer opportunities from rural areas of Sicily an inclusive and accessible European mobility experience, using DiscoverEU as a non-formal learning tool. – The central topic of the project is the circular economy, understood as a practical approach to sustainability, responsible mobility, resource management and everyday life. – From a youth work perspective, the project aims to strengthen young people’s autonomy, self-confidence and decision-making skills, while reducing the economic, social and geographical barriers that limit access to European opportunities. – The project promotes active citizenship and a sense of belonging to the European Union through direct contact with different European contexts and observable sustainable practices. – The project includes three DiscoverEU mobilities involving three different groups of young people. – The itineraries were chosen to offer young people direct exposure to diverse and transferable European practices, helping them to link what they observe to their own local context.
