By implementing the project, we aim to: strengthen staff competences in modern heritage interpretation and the use of participatory non-formal education methods; integrate environmental education and “green event” practices into our regular programmes; increase inclusion by creating accessible activities for different age groups and learners with fewer opportunities; and expand European partnerships to ensure long-term quality, sustainability, and innovation in our work.
We applied for this project to strengthen the competences of Žagarė Cultural Centre staff in modern heritage interpretation and in integrating environmental education into our everyday activities. Working in a peripheral area, we aim to create engaging and inclusive programmes for different age groups and learners with fewer opportunities, while also implementing more sustainable event practices.
