Objectives

The project aims to support young people’s emotional wellbeing and self-expression by using collective creativity and music-based methods as tools in youth work practice. The project responds to the need for safe, non-competitive spaces where young people can slow down, express emotions and feel accepted without pressure to perform or achieve. From a youth work perspective, the project seeks to strengthen young people’s ability to listen to themselves and others, manage emotional stress and build self-confidence through shared creative processes. By working with sound and music in a collective and inclusive way, participants experience cooperation, mutual support and emotional awareness as part of everyday learning. The project also aims to equip young people with practical tools and simple exercises that can be used beyond the exchange, such as listening practices, calming techniques and creative reflection methods that support mental wellbeing in daily life. In addition, the project supports the development of social and intercultural competences, encouraging openness, respect and active participation. Through international cooperation, participants gain experience in working with peers from different backgrounds, strengthening their sense of belonging, responsibility and active citizenship. Overall, the project contributes to youth work practice by offering accessible, creative and wellbeing-focused methods that can be applied in local youth activities and shared with other young people after the project ends.
