The aim of this project is to provide young people with fewer opportunities from the Varėna district with real opportunities to learn through experience by travelling across Europe, thus reducing the social, economic, and geographical exclusion they face. The project focuses on youth empowerment and the development of their independence, self-confidence, social, and intercultural competences through non-formal education methods such as geocaching games, group work, and reflection. The project seeks to encourage young people’s active participation in social and European life, strengthen tolerance, openness to diversity, and European identity, and introduce participants to different European cultures, architecture, principles of sustainability, and community lifestyles. Participation in the project will contribute to young people’s personal growth, the strengthening of “Youthpass” competences, and long-term motivation to develop, engage in international initiatives, and actively participate in community life.
