Purpose. MindYourBusiness.AI transforms beginners, especially young NEETs, into confident “makers” who can frame a real social or environmental challenge and develop a small, usable web tool in just one week. We combine non‑formal learning with AI‑assisted coding under strict human‑in‑the‑loop, privacy and accessibility rules, so that learning is hands‑on, safe and inclusive. Why now. There is a practical creation gap in youth work: many activities spark ideas, but few help young people produce something tangible that they can show to peers, employers, or local stakeholders. Affordable browser tools and AI assistants now enable mixed-ability teams to build faster - if youth workers provide structure, ethical guardrails, and basic business thinking. The project addresses this need with an accessible, step-by-step path from problem to prototype, utilising design thinking and “AI as a helper, not a decider.” What changes for participants. Across seven days, youth learn to research users, prototype on a single browser platform, check for bias and accessibility, explain the limits of AI, and tell a value story that a non-technical audience can understand. They leave with links and artefacts (live URL, 5‑page plan, pitch deck, captioned demo) and a Youthpass narrative that evidences real progress in creativity, collaboration, digital making and basic entrepreneurship. Objectives. O1. Creativity and problem solving - use a clear daily loop to work on real social/ecological challenges: understand, define, try, test, improve. O2. Beginner-friendly digital making - build a simple interactive web tool using one browser platform, with AI as a helper and humans checking the work. No IT background required. O3. Entrepreneurial competence - create a short business plan (max 5 pages), and practise presenting the idea on Day 7. O4. Responsible and greener practice - complete a short responsibility check covering privacy, fairness, accessibility, and keeping solutions lightweight and realistic. O5. Ecosystem awareness - a half-day visit to meet founders and learn what support structures exist at an early stage. O6. Reuse at home - each national group runs one peer session within 45 days to transfer the method, with a follow-up check at 90 days. How we’ll know it worked. How we’ll know it worked (learning-first). Success is primarily measured by inclusive participation and skill confidence gains for fewer-opportunity participants (attendance, safety, satisfaction, and Youthpass evidence of progress). Outputs are used as evidence of learning: each team reaches an appropriate prototype level (interactive mock-up or live URL), completes responsibility/accessibility checks, and can explain decisions and limits of AI. Follow-up success is confirmed via the D+45 peer session and a realistic, low-barrier reuse action by D+90.
