Objectives

Our objectives: CONTENT: To implement at least 3 methods for transforming stories into digital, intergenerational learning resources. QUALITY: To implement quality standards for the digital documentation of community stories, ensuring that at least 90% of documented stories meet these standards. SUSTAINABILITY: To establish a sustainable model for intergenerational community storytelling by training at least 2 mentors, developing 1 non-formal education programme, defining roles of institutions.

Background

Since 2023, the Development and Innovation Learning Centre has been developing storytelling methods in non-formal adult education in Latvia’s border communities. We lack a methodology for turning collected stories into reusable learning resources, we do not have unified quality standards for digital documentation, and we lack a sustainable cooperation model with local institutions. Mobility is needed to learn good practices from European organisations and implement them in our work.
