The project aims to improve VIZIUM staff competencies through job shadowing in leading European science centres and to develop a methodology to expand and improve adult education programmes. It focuses on inclusion, digital solutions, quality management and increasing adult participation in STEAM learning.
VDC applied to strengthen the professional competencies of VIZIUM staff, as the largest and most advanced science centre in Latvia, VIZIUM has no comparable institutions nationally. Additionally, staff lack experience managing large-scale centres and engaging adults, as around 80% of visitors are children. International mobility is needed to improve quality, inclusion and adult participation.
