We aim to strengthen applied AI competences of OSH professionals, modernise LDASA’s CVET portfolio with AI-based modules, pilot digital documentation workflows, and develop internal guidelines for responsible AI use in safety-critical environments. The project will enhance digital efficiency, compliance quality and institutional capacity for sustainable digital transformation.
Since 2022, digital reporting has become mandatory in Latvia’s occupational safety sector. Our internal survey shows that 67% of members still rely on manual documentation and 63% have never used AI tools professionally. Although highly qualified, many experienced OSH professionals face a digital competence gap. We applied for this project to address this structural skills mismatch and support AI-ready professional transition.
