he project aims to improve adult learners’ professional skills in catering and pastry, with special focus on European culinary practices not included in standard programmes. It will enhance practical skills, understanding of work processes in an international environment, and professional communication and English language competences. At the same time, the project will strengthen organisational capacity for international cooperation and improve the quality of training content.
In Latvia, opportunities are limited for adults, especially those aged 40+, who do not want to attend vocational schools for several years but wish to acquire catering and pastry skills in a shorter time. Adults aiming to change careers or improve their professional situation often face financial constraints, low self-confidence and limited chances for international experience. This project provides them practical experience in an international environment.
