By implementing this project, we aim to empower young people to become active, responsible, and environmentally conscious citizens who are able to reflect on their everyday choices and their impact on society and the environment. The project seeks to strengthen young people’s competences through non-formal education, hands-on learning, and youth-led activities that connect sustainability, social responsibility, and active participation. From a youth work practice perspective, the main objectives are to increase youth participation and ownership, support peer learning, and create safe and inclusive learning spaces where young people can develop practical skills, confidence, and motivation. Through intercultural exchange, volunteering, and community-based activities, young people will gain experience in teamwork, communication, leadership, and civic engagement. The project also aims to raise awareness about sustainable lifestyles, recycling, upcycling, and solidarity, while encouraging young people to translate learning into concrete actions in their local communities. By actively involving young people in all phases of the project—from planning to implementation and follow-up—the project supports long-term youth engagement, strengthens intercultural understanding, and contributes to the development of high-quality youth work at local and European levels..
