Objectives

With Re-Imagine Youth: Skills, Identity & Action, we aim to address urgent challenges facing young people today: navigating digital complexity, responding to the climate crisis, and building a strong sense of identity in an interconnected Europe. In our youth work practice, we see young people struggling with misinformation, eco-anxiety, and questions of belonging. This project creates a safe, creative, and intercultural space where young people can reflect, learn, and design actions for their future. From the perspective of youth work practice, the project’s objectives are: -To strengthen digital literacy and critical thinking by equipping young people with practical tools for fact-checking, creative use of online platforms, and balancing online/offline life. -To promote sustainable habits and eco-responsibility through non-formal workshops and challenges that connect climate action to daily youth practices. -To support identity exploration and civic engagement, enabling young people to reflect on who they are, how they belong, and how they can contribute to shaping Europe’s future. -To empower young people as multipliers and leaders, giving each national team responsibility for leading one full programme day and supporting participants to design and implement Local Action Plans in their communities. -To foster intercultural dialogue and solidarity by bringing together participants from Romania, Portugal, Spain, Türkiye, and Latvia, building trust, empathy, and European connection. -To strengthen youth organisations and leaders by testing and documenting innovative non-formal methods that can be reused in schools, youth centres, and future Erasmus+ projects. Through these objectives, the project combines personal empowerment, peer-to-peer learning, and organisational capacity-building. It ensures that results are not limited to the exchange itself but are embedded into daily youth work practice, benefiting young people and communities across Europe.
