Objectives

The project aims to strengthen inclusive youth work practice within Erasmus+ by addressing structural barriers faced by trainers, youth workers and project creators who are parents or have other caregiving responsibilities. From a youth work practice perspective, the project seeks to: - generate concrete evidence on how caregiving responsibilities affect participation, mobility and professional continuity in the Erasmus+ field, using qualitative interviews, focus groups and quantitative survey data; - support youth workers and trainers in reflecting on their lived experience as professional knowledge, and in translating this experience into articulated insights that can inform programme design, facilitation and organisational decision‑making; - improve the quality and inclusiveness of Erasmus+ activities by transforming collected data and lived experience into practical guidance for organisers, including a checklist for inclusive mobilities and evidence‑based calls to attention for National Agencies. Through shared reflection, qualitative research and peer learning, the project aims to generate evidence‑based insights, practical tools and constructive dialogue that support more accessible, care‑aware and sustainable youth work practices. Ultimately, the project contributes to ensuring that experienced youth work professionals can continue to participate in and contribute to Erasmus+ activities, strengthening the quality and continuity of youth work for young people across Europe.
