The aim of the project is to promote active youth participation and civic competence by strengthening young people’s understanding of physical, mental and sexual health and by creating a safe, inclusive environment where young people can freely express their opinions and talk about sensitive but important issues. The project is based on the belief that a healthy and secure young person is able and willing to participate fully in school, community and democratic life, take responsibility and influence decisions that matter to them. During the project, young people will be involved in at least six participation activities and will act as idea creators, content producers, organisers and peer educators. The project directly aligns with the youth participation objective of creating opportunities for young people to engage in and learn how to participate in civic, political and democratic life, express their views and ensure that their needs are heard and taken into account.
