By implementing the project “Politiķis ir tikai cilvēks 3.0”, we aim to increase young people’s interest, understanding and participation in elections, especially reaching young people who are usually not involved in civic processes and do not plan to vote. The project aims to reduce the distance between young people and decision-makers by making the electoral process more understandable and accessible. Through the project, young people will gain practical knowledge about elections, voting procedures and participation opportunities at local and national level. Non-formal and youth-friendly activities will encourage critical thinking, dialogue and confidence that young people’s voices matter. The project will create safe spaces for dialogue between young people and politicians both before and after elections and will strengthen youth participation between election cycles.
