We want to ensure we are able to provide legal services that are professional, updated and correct in view of the new rules coming into force in June 2026. We also want to strengthen our ability to engage with Government and other stakeholders on the very complex issues within migration and asylum. We also want to be able to disseminate and share this knowledge with partner NGOs and beneficiary communities, so that we will all have a shared knowledge baseline.
We applied for this project because our team members need to get better acquainted with the new EU Pact on Migration and Asylum. The best to do this is to attend formal training sessions that also gather experts from other EU Member States in order to stimulate mutual learning and discussions. These training events are quite expensive for small NGOs like ours, so the Erasmus+ Programme represents the best opportunity for us to learn, grow and disseminate the acquired knowledge and skills.
