This project will enable us to pool ideas and share knowledge and skills in the field of beekeeping and environmental awareness raising. The partners we will be working with are all well versed in working with the community and this will help Esplora extend its outreach, offering learning opportunities to people beyond our customary visitors, particularly people from disadvantaged backgrounds. The project will also help us enhance our live bee exhibit and the activities we offer around it.
Esplora’s past KA1 projects received very positive feedback from both participants and staff benefiting from 'train the trainer' events that followed. Erasmus+ support for job shadowing will help us implement our new live exhibit, making programming more inclusive and extending our reach to audiences previously underserved such as adults, older adults and, also thanks to the involvement of our Maltese partner Youth Alive Foundation /Dar Frate Jacoba, people from disadvantaged social backgrounds.
