Nowadays young people are constantly surrounded by pressure, competition, and emotional overload. Many of them act impulsively rather than reflectively, jumping from one decision to another without considering long term consequences. The motivation for this initiative comes from the strong desire of young people to understand themselves and their environment better. They are tired of feeling lost, distracted, and reactive. They wish to learn how to stay calm in complex situations, how to cooperate rather than compete, and how to make decisions that reflect who they truly are. Our main aim is to empower young people to develop strategic, emotional, and social intelligence through the metaphor of chess and gamified education so that they can act consciously, cooperatively, and with respect both in their personal lives and within their communities. We aim to help participants explore how life decisions resemble chess moves by strengthening their ability to plan, set goals, and think critically before acting. The main objectives: To help participants explore how life decisions resemble chess moves, enabling them to strengthen their skills in goal setting, planning, critical thinking, and evaluating the consequences of their actions. To support young people in managing stress, reduce impulsive behaviour, improving focus, and balancing logic with emotion in daily decision-making. To foster teamwork and intercultural understanding, creating a safe and playful environment where participants cooperate, communicate, and learn from one another through shared experiences and inclusive activities. To introduce gamification as an engaging non-formal learning tool, showing how creative and interactive methods like chess-based exercises can make learning accessible, motivating, and enjoyable.
