Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data usageInitial and continuous training for teachers, trainers and other education staffOvercoming skills mismatch and addressing the needs of the labour market

Objectives

Strengthen our teachers new teaching practices and new ideas from other IT teachers. An international exchange will also strengthen the confidence of our teachers. The international context can increase the adult learners (women) chances of finding employment in any form (wage employment or entrepreneurship) within the Netherlands and across Europe. It will also strengthen their self-confidence, boost their personal growth, and help them see opportunities they currently don't see.

Background

We need to address the lack of teaching skills of our IT teachers expertly, but we lack the financial resources and the right environment in the Netherlands to do so. We want to bring our teachers to an organization experienced in teaching IT to adults. Our largest target group is underrepresented groups, including women of color and other ethnic backgrounds. This includes women in vulnerable positions, such as those facing disconnectedness from the digital world, those working in underpaid jobs
