Objectives

Summary “Visual Expression Without Labels” brings together 30 young people from the Netherlands, Romania, Portugal, Poland, and the Czech Republic who want to challenge stereotypes and social labels through visual art. In our daily lives, we see how labels related to gender, economic background, or geographical origin can limit opportunities and silence voices. We want to create a space where young people can express themselves freely, even if they are not confident in English or academic discussions. That is why we use visual methods such as collage, photography, and creative design as tools for inclusion. The project is youth-led. We are involved in planning, facilitating sessions, and creating the final results. At least 70% of the workshops during the 7-day exchange in the Netherlands will be led by participants. Group leaders act as mentors, ensuring safety and quality. Our objectives are: - To create a safe and inclusive space to explore gender equality and social inclusion. - To strengthen leadership and facilitation skills through peer-learning. - To develop creative and digital competences. - To foster intercultural dialogue between five European countries. - To support 14 participants with fewer opportunities through reinforced mentoring and recognition via Youthpass. The main results will be a public exhibition and an Online Visual Guide that other youth groups can use. After the exchange, we will organise local workshops in our home countries to share what we learned. Through this project, we aim to return home with stronger skills, more confidence, and practical tools to promote inclusion in our communities.
