Sound of Unity aims to empower young people aged 13–19 with fewer opportunities by strengthening their emotional well-being, self-expression and social inclusion through music-based non-formal education. By involving Students of Sumgait Public Union under the accountability and long- standing expertise of Common Sense Youth Organization (CSYO), the exchange strengthens cooperation between EU youth organisations and a well-established youth work ecosystem in the Eastern Partnership region. From a youth work practice perspective, the project seeks to respond to the increasing mental health challenges among young people by creating safe, inclusive and participatory learning environments in which young people are actively involved as co-creators of the exchange.
