Objectives

The project aims to strengthen the capacity of youth workers to support young people, particularly those with fewer opportunities, in addressing key socio-economic challenges related to financial literacy, employability and access to social and labour rights through high-quality non-formal education. From a youth work practice perspective, the project seeks to equip youth workers with practical, youth-friendly and participatory methods that allow them to translate complex socio-economic topics into accessible learning experiences. By doing so, the project responds to a clear gap in youth work, where such topics are often perceived as too technical or outside the scope of non-formal education. The project aims to: - improve youth workers’ competences, confidence and attitudes in addressing employability, financial literacy and social rights in their daily work; - enhance the quality and relevance of youth work by integrating these topics into inclusive, participatory and rights-based practices; - strengthen cooperation and peer learning among youth workers from different countries and organisational contexts; - support the professional development of youth workers and the organisational capacity of participating organisations, in line with the objectives of Youth Workers Mobility. By focusing on real-life youth work challenges and active participation, the project aims to generate sustainable impact on youth work practice, enabling youth workers to better empower young people in their transition to employment, independent living and active participation in society.
