The project strengthens the municipality’s efforts to develop effective vehicles for youth participation in The Hague Zuid-West by consolidating these structures and creating sustainable linkages between young people and decision-makers. The project aligns the municipality’s three levels of youth engagement with MasterPeace’s step-based approach, creating opportunities for young people to engage and learn to participate, and developing participatory vehicles that enable youth influence. - At entry level, it provides accessible engagement opportunities, particularly for young people with fewer opportunities. - At advanced level, it strengthens the capacities of already engaged youth, focusing on civic action and connection. - At stewardship level, youth consultants deepen their knowledge of participation, including at European level, enabling them to contribute to democratic processes and act as bridge builders. - Decision-makers improve their capacity to enable youth participation.
