Objectives

We aim to turn 9 SGM educators into “Resilience Educators.” Through a mobility programme in Turkey, we will strengthen our staff’s skills in AI pedagogy, cyberpsychology, and green gamification. We will then update the “Senior Safe Online” and “Eco-Citizen” programmes. Ultimately, we want to boost the digital confidence and critical thinking of 300 adult residents of Silesia, helping them navigate the EU’s “twin transition.”

Background

SGM is applying for the “Forever Young in the Digital Jungle” project to close a key skills gap in Silesia. As the region transforms, adult learners—especially seniors—struggle with techno-anxiety and AI-driven misinformation. While our team has strong technical know-how, we lack the andragogical methods needed to teach AI and green topics to vulnerable groups. Mobility will help us acquire these methods, build resilience, and prevent digital exclusion.
